This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar technologies Pay-Sidekick uses, why, and how you can control them. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
Quebec Law 25 / GDPR notice
For visitors in Quebec or the European Economic Area, non-essential cookies are not set until you opt in via the consent banner shown on your first visit. You can change your choice at any time from the footer's "Cookie settings" link.

Strictly necessary (always on)
These cookies are required for the Service to function. You cannot disable them without breaking the application.

Functional (opt-in)
We currently do not use any functional cookies beyond the strictly-necessary set. Browser localStorage is used to persist your anonymous planner inputs across reloads on the same device; this is not a cookie and is never transmitted to our servers.
Analytics (opt-in)
We currently do not run analytics scripts (no Google Analytics, no Segment, no Mixpanel, no Plausible). If we add analytics in the future, this section will be updated and signed-in users will be re-prompted for consent before tracking begins.
Advertising
We do not run advertising cookies. We will not introduce them without first publishing a major version of this policy and obtaining explicit opt-in consent.
Third parties
The strictly-necessary cookies above are set by Clerk (clerk.com), our identity provider. Clerk's own cookie policy describes how it handles cookie data.
Our infrastructure provider Cloudflare may set additional cookies for security and bot-mitigation (cf_clearance, __cf_bm) on a transient, per-request basis. These cannot be opted out of without bypassing Cloudflare entirely; see Cloudflare's cookie policy.
Changing your settings
- In-app: footer → "Cookie settings". Choices apply immediately.
- In your browser: most browsers let you block or delete cookies via their settings. Blocking the strictly-necessary cookies will prevent sign-in.
Changes to this policy
When this policy changes, signed-in users will be re-prompted to consent on next sign-in.
