Not Professional Tax Advice

Pay-Sidekick is a personal planning tool, not a tax-preparation service or financial-advisory product. The calculations, projections, and bracket figures it displays are intended for educational and planning purposes only.

Specifically, Pay-Sidekick does not provide:

Tax Year Coverage and Confidence

Pay-Sidekick currently models payroll tax math for tax years 2024 through 2026. Each provincial / territorial jurisdiction's bracket data is flagged in the application as one of:

Always treat "approximate" output as a planning estimate, not a filing figure.

Indexation and Mid-Year Changes

Provincial and federal indexation factors, CPP/EI ceilings, and BPA thresholds change annually and occasionally mid-year (for example, Bill C-69-style emergency adjustments). Pay-Sidekick is updated through its admin console as new figures are published; users should consult the Tax Data version history if they require an audit trail of which values were in force on a given date.

Use Your Own Judgement

Before making any financial, tax-planning, or filing decision based on output from this tool, consult a qualified Canadian tax professional, Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), or licensed financial planner. Pay-Sidekick's authors and operators accept no liability for decisions made in reliance on the tool's output.
